It sounds as if at least some of these people are taking other frustrations out on people who cannot over react in response, the offenders have found an easy target to "dump" on such as a clerk who needs her income. Also, the horribly selfish and temper tantrum on steroids adult could have been drunk, on drugs, or both.
Lastly, it's possible that some people have overextended themselves and even a small charge sends them over the edge of sanity. I think the guy in the video should be ordered to jail for one year for each thousand of dollars in damage that he caused. While he did not take a life, he VERY easily could have and a lengthy sentence will send the message that this type of "mess" is not tolerated!
