   Do you think you need to have a personal vision to  ensure self development?

   Since a personal vision is related to your identifications, about yourself, others, and the world, this vision will most probably be more of a hinder, than a tool towards self development.
   
   However, reconsidering any vision you carry will almost certain lead to more freedom. And freedom leads to more self development.
   
   On the other hand, although not related to personal development as such, for achieving practical goals in life, a vision is most of the time, almost certain a very helpfull tool. Since it will act as a reminder and beacon towards your practical goal.
