Updated on June 24, 2011

When anyone say you that you can earn huge money without much effort with a program then you will be curious to listen the name of that program. When he discloses the name, i.e google adsense then your next questions probably would be ‘HOW ?’, what are the basic requirements?... etc.

Including the above basic questions, you will have many other queries about generating money with Google Adsense. Although, Adsense is a free program in which you can place ads on your site, blogs or other adsense revenue sharing sites, but a must requirement is that your content should be unique, attractive, helpful. You will be paid on PPC (pay per click) basis. When someone clicks your ads you will be paid between a cent to 15$/click depending upon the impression, country, page rank of your site.

The following guide will clear all the requirements for making money with Google Adsense.

What Type of website I can place my ads of Adsense on ?

Well, it can be any type of web page that you own, either bought or created free from blogger, your ecommerce website, your profile content page on websites that offer Adsense revenue sharing etc. Note that if you are signing an account for adsense program for your personal website than your domain should be at least 6 months old. Read terms and conditions carefully before joining else your account will be disabled and all your earnings will go in vain.

Do I need to have technical background to make money with Adsense?
Certainly not! You can make good money with Google Adsense, even if you do not have technical knowledge. Google itself has tutorials on how to use Adsense. As long as you understand English, you can make good money with Adsense. It is very easy to understand. If you have any query than you can post comment and wait for reply.

How much time I need to spend in order to make money with Google Adsense?

Due to frequent changes in search engine Algorithms and updates in Google Adsense, things are on constant change and you’ll need to keep yourself updated about the latest trends. So, it depends on you that how quickly you keep track of all things. Further, the more time you give to it, the more it will earn for you. Most important thing is that you have to keep you site updated regularly either by yourself or if you have money than you can keep someone to look after that. You have to give time to increase the site traffic. More the traffic, more chances to increase in the page rank and hence increase in money. This can be done in several ways. By advertising on ppc basis by google adwords, adhitz, bidvertiser… , get help of print media, place ads online on free classifieds… etc. Remember : Don’t send your site link in emails. Do not click on your own ads. Do not encourage others to clock ads. Neither give incentives to click on the ads nor place you site link on other ptc sites.

I already have an Adsense account. Can I use it on all of my websites?

Yes, you do not need to re apply for Adsense for your new website and can use your Adsense on multiple sites. Your domain should be atleast six months old. Do not put ads of so many adsense alternative sites. Only three adsense link units and not more than three banner ads should be placed.
