Getting it 10,000 times, Hubs

This Hubber has been read, 10,000 times...
You got it 10,000 times?
If you are thinking this Hub is about getting punched, or winning the lottery, Lilly is sorry to disappoint you. This is simply about reaching a milestone of being read over 10,000 times.
I wrote this Hub as a fairly new Hubber. I had passed the cool phase of being a newbie. I no longer qualified for the Wannabe-Hub-Nugget-Awards. I was growing up in authorship, stretching my editorial wings, and becoming more serious. I began writing better content, and longer Hubs.
Being a type A personality, the Hub numbers are important to Lilly. Making the grade, and getting at least a high C 80, is important to her. She is more satisfied with an A, but those come by very hard work, determination, and a constant presence on HubPages. HubPages does not distribute grades, but measures by traffic, participation, involvement, and quality content .
When Lilly's Hub Score is 100, She feels like she got an A. It is hard work to keep a 100 score. Lilly used to be disappointed when the 100 would drop to 95 the very next day, often pledging to work harder, than what she earned with this Low A .
The Accolades are where the numbers tally up between effort, appreciation, readership, rating on Google™, this is a good indicator of revenue that may be generated from your Hubs .
Each time a Hub Writer passes a personal milestone, by publishing original and solid content, that others find interesting and gains readership, it becomes visible on the Accolades portion of HubPages.
If you write good quality, original and within Hub Terms of Use, you can track the time and effort put in, and as the Accolade numbers begin to climb, it is only natural that earnings will too rise.
In July of 2010, Lillygrillzit submitted her first Hub
July 08, 2010, I wrote and submitted my first Hub. The people I started following early on, were Hubbers with more longevity, and they all had at least 2 rows of Accolades. The Accolades are those medal/ribbon looking stars under the Profile image on the Profile Page. Many other Hubbers had 100's of Hubs.
Some Hubbers have been on at least 3 years. Hubbers before Lilly had answered over 50 Questions, asked over 100 questions! At the beginning, it seemed almost impossible to Lilly, to write 300 Hubs, or 100, or even 30.
The reason Lilly started following any particular Hubber was 1). they sent encouragement. When she was looking for information on how HubPages worked. These writers wrote good Hubs and direction. 2). Lilly would run across Hubs that she enjoyed, and would follow the writer. 3). She would read, How to ... hubs from Hubbers like Rebecca E, who writes in high volume, and has a LOT of Hubs for newbies and old-bees [sp] alike. If a Hubber is willing to read and learn, contribute, and have good manners, they will find a lot of support and care by the Administrators and other Hub Writers.
What have I got 10,000 times What have I got 10,000 times? My Hubs...Read!
Remember how it felt the first time you saw a baby take a first step, then loose their first tooth, then go to first grade? Since written Hubs feel like a part of us, like children sort of, this feels good to pass a milestone of 10,000 reads! Thank you Hubbers, HubPages and Followers.
Lilly hopes this encourages any new or longtime Hub Writers . The Best to you.

Lilly's Hubs have been read 10,000 times
My Hubs have been read 10,000 Times - This may not mean much to some writers (Google wants writers to have 1 Million hits per day), but having reached another milestone in such a short time is a positive and powerful experience.
HubPages and the Hub system, has encouraged me as a writer, to push, to exceed my own expectations.
There are Hubbers who generate so much good written content daily , and still take time to reach out, read and comment on the Hubs of Newbies and others.
Lisa HW has had her Hubs read over 1,000,000 Times and she has been on HubPages over 3 Years.
One of the things that I like about what these Hubbers have to say, is that it takes Hard Work and Determination to make money writing on-line. Since writing on HubPages, I work very hard as a writer, and have surpassed goals. This is a good feeling, to be in the right place, at the right time.
If you care about the numbers , I understand. HubPages has given tools to know what is popular, what drives traffic, what good content is. The Karma and Score given, are important in a different way. There are many Hubs out there about Hub Score and Karma, by Jerrico Usher has written a comprehensive Hub on the Numbers rhythms of HubPages.

100,000, or 1,000,000,000 as the next Milestone?
