Hosted Google Adsense Accounts
Google has recently introduced hosted adsense accounts for the host partner websites. Now every one will be thinking what a hosted adsense account means. Hosted adsense accounts are like the normal adsense accounts but these accounts can only be used for some particular host partner site through which the user has applied for Google adsense. There is no difference in the earnings and payment methods for hosted accounts. In our Google adsense account if we see "Hosted account" in red text near the publisher id then we can make sure that the account is a hosted account. From now onwards When we try to apply for adsense through host partner web sites like hubpages, blogger, youtube etc, we will be getting a hosted adsense account instead of normal account. For getting the approval the Google will conduct the two review steps as usual and will grant the complete access for our account. The main limitation of this account is that it cannot be directly used for placing advertisements in our newly introduced websites. For getting approval in our newly websites or those sites which has not yet approved, then we have to do some procedures in the adsense account.
step 1. Sign in to the Google adsense account.
Step 2. Click on the "Account settings" option.
Step 3. Click on the edit button near "Only host sites are allowed to show ads for your content".
Step 4. On this page we will be able to see "I will show ads on" with a space, there we have to give the website's URL and click on submit.
It is also required to place the ad codes in the pages of the site which are to be reviewed. Now Google will review the website and with in a week they will send the mail regarding approval or disapproval of the website. When our website is approved through this procedure then our account will become normal adsense account and we will not be able to see the text "Hosted account" at the top of the account. Google has introduced this new system of approval to make sure there is no misuse of accounts.
