So you want to know how to make money writing and you want to know exactly where to start.  I am positive many people make money many different ways with their writing but this series of hubs is going to be exactly how my business partner and I make money with our writing.

This Hub is going to be the bitter beginnings and what you need before you ever even think of typing a letter on your keyboard.  Remember this is about how to make money writing and not about writing for fun.  Now that doesn't mean you can't have fun while you are writing.

There are a few factors that you need to put into place before you ever look at keywords, niches, blogs, SEO or anything like that.

The factors you are need to consider before you ever start writing is asking yourself if you have what it takes to make money with your writing.  Some people may think it's just putting some words to a word document and you are off to the races.  Well I'm here to tell you it's a lot more than that.

You are going to need to decide if you are patient enough, committed, willing to learn and willing to make mistakes.  Those are the four factors I will talk about in this Hub before moving onto the other Hubs that will get into the details you need after you have decide you do have what it takes.

So, if you want to know how to make money writing you are going to have to ask yourself if you are patient enough to do this.  There is going to be a lot of times you will have to do a lot of things that just don't interest you but they are all things that will needed to be done.

You also need to realize things are not going to happen overnight.  That's just not the way things work when you are trying to make money with the Internet.  You will notice in most cases that you are doing a lot of work and not seeing any rewards for your efforts.

This is probably the number one reason people leave or jump to something else.  I have made the same mistakes early in my Internet career.  If you are patient and continue to do the things you need to do eventually you will get the rewards.  Of course there are times you may need to do some tweaking and make some adjustments but at the end of the day as long as you keep working you will eventually be paid nicely for your patience.

Part of being patient is never stopping.  You need to continue to write, learn, write, learn and you will notice things starting to happen.  It really is impossible for me to give you a timeline because everyone's efforts are going to be different.

So the number one factor in learning how to make money writing is to be patient.

In the world of learning how to make money writing there is probably nothing as important as the commitment you are willing to make.  When I say commitment I mean commitment to everything that has to be done.

You have to be committed to each and every aspect of your writing.  You need to understand that you will write, write, write some more and just when you think you are done writing you will be writing more.

You will be to the point where you think you just can't write anymore or you have nothing else to write, well that's where the commitment to keep going comes in.  You need to ask yourself if you are ready to make such a commitment.  At times it will mean not watching that favorite television show and for those really serious you may even have to miss some things more important than just a TV show.

Were not talking just a couple of articles here and calling it good.  We are talking thousands of articles, millions of characters, thousands and thousands of pages.  I,m sorry but I need to be blunt and make you realize exactly what it's going to take if you want to learn how to make money writing.

Learning how to make money writing means you need to be willing to learn.  Obviously some people are better writers than others but when it comes to writing for money online you have to always be willing to learn.

There are always new tools and trends coming out and honestly it is very important that you keep up with them.  Now please don't confuse these new tools and trends with all the greatest new tools that you absolutely need that are being brought out by the so called gurus at least twice a week.  I am talking about the real tools that are needed.

What works today could completely stop working the next day and in order to keep a steady stream of income flowing you need to be ready for this.  You need to take some time from your writing to be continually learning.  By doing this you will also notice you will find many new things that will work for you and even the things that won't work for you.

Also when you start dealing with different niches you will be required to do a lot of learning if you are going to portray yourself as an expert in a niche.  People will see through you in a second if you just try and fake your way through something.

Remember, you want to learn how to make money writing and that can be done as long as you are willing to learn the ins and outs of what works and what doesn't.

Remember you are at the beginning and while you want to know how to make money writing you have to be willing to make mistakes.  Not only do you need to be able to make mistakes but you can't get yourself down on them either.  A mistake in most cases will only make you a stronger writer especially if you are writing to make money.

I don't care who you are and what you do everyone makes mistakes at some point.  The strong never dwell on them but just keep moving forward.  if you are one of those who are going to dwell on your mistakes then prepare yourself for an early exit in your career to make money writing.

Coaches, doctors, teachers, parents, children, scientists, pilots and everyone else makes mistakes so why should you be any different.  The key to all of this is how you learn from your mistakes.  If you let the mistakes take over then you are done.  However if you take control and teach yourself then very quickly you won't even think twice when you make a mistake.  making mistakes are all a part of learning how to make money writing.
