Greetings fellow hubbers! So it's been about over a year since I've joined Hubpages and it's been fun! You've probably stumbled upon this hub and said to yourself "Ohhhh, yeah I'd like more money for my hubs!" or you're saying to yourself "Oh, another one of these hubs where I'm going to follow what this guy says and I'm not going to make anything anyway." Well, whether you like it or not, I'm doing it anyway! So I'd like to talk about how you can increase your google adsense revenue on Hubpages. There are some things I noticed that work when you're trying to increase your google adsense revenue. These habits are very effective when trying to increase your income on hubpages. Let's get started with them and start making more $$ on your google adsense account!

Write About Your Passions

This one is really a no brainer. Write about your interests. Chances are you have something unique to offer your fellow hubbers. Most importantly, have fun doing it! If you're having fun writing your hubs, chances are your audience is going to enjoy reading them. Also, you're adsense revenue will go up. If you're just writing hubs for money and you're not having fun writing them, you're not going to be making very much money. As multi-billionaire Donald Trump says "If you're not having fun with what you're doing, you got to get out of there."

Follow People That Are Looking For You

Like Twitter, you can follow people on Hubpages. Follow people that are looking for you. What do I mean by that? I mean follow people that have the same interests you have. So if you're into cooking, find and follow people that make hubs about cooking. If you're into sports, follow people that write about sports. You get the idea. Leave them fan mail in the process as well. It doesn't have to be overdone, just say that they have great hubs. People love being appreciated and they respond to it in a positive way. First things first though, write a hub about your interests so the people you're following see that you share similar interests. In return, they'll follow you back! If somebody is following you and you're not following them yet, follow them and leave them a thank you for following you. You can never go wrong with gratitude.

Ask Engaging Questions

I always see my adsense revenue go up when I leave questions for my followers to answer. Ask the most engaging questions you can think of. Your followers will be more than happy to give you their answers. I'll give you some examples of you can ask that get effective results. "Can A man and a woman be just friends?" Do you believe in ghosts?" "Is it true that a man doesn't show any emotion?" "Do you agree that you need to keep your friends close and your enemies closer?" "What do you see as success?" "What does being free mean to you?" These kinds of questions will get people talking. If they aren't following you, follow them and leave them a thank you for answering the question you left. Most of the time, you'll get a new follower as well!

Read Your Followers Hubs and Leave Comments

Interact with the people your following. Read the hubs they've written and leave comments about their hubs. I certainly always feel appreciated when my followers take the time to read my hubs. Make sure you put in an effort to read their hubs as well.

Keep Writing About Your Interests

Persistence, persistence, persistence my friends. You've got to keep writing. A farmer that's taking care of his farm usually plants the seed and waters them for 90 days in order for his harvest to grow. A baby takes 9 months to develop and leave the mothers womb. It's the exact same thing with this. Water and nurture your hub page articles (not literally of course). The more time and energy you spend on making high quality engaging hubs and interacting with the hubpage community, the more likely you'll see your google adsense revenue go up.

At first you won't be making a ton of money and that's okay. I was stuck at $0.00 for three months! But that's because I gave up easily on writing my articles. Remember, persistence is the key. Keep writing and you'll get the results you're looking for. There are people on here that are making $500 to $2,000 a month! Guess what? You can too.
