Make Money on HubPages

You may be asking, “How can I make money on HubPages?” The answer is quite simple. When you create original magazine-style articles, you inevitably generate traffic to your work. HubPages has become one of the 100 most visited Internet sites in America, garnering millions and millions of visits each month, traffic. This traffic is valuable, and companies will pay you to advertise their products and services in your article. With HubPages, your earnings come from revenue generated each time a person clicks on one of these eBay, Amazon, Google, or HubPages' advertisements.

I recently wrote an article about The Who. When I published it, Google and Hubpages began to advertise different guitar sites, music sites, and other related topics. Whenever anybody clicks on one of those advertisements, I earn money. In addition, I added some Amazon advertisements and offered some Who albums. If somebody buys an album from those links, I earn approximately 4 to 6 percent of the total cost.

It’s important to note that people do not blog on HubPages. A Hub is usually an article that is longer than a blog post, one that covers a specific subject in some depth. Blogs are very short, and hubs are usually between 500 to 1,500 words. While you can certainly earn revenue on HubPages, it comes with some effort.

At this point, you’re probably ready to ask, “Okay, how much can I earn on HubPages?” This isn’t some scheme to get rich overnight. There’s no way to predict how successful you may be. Writing for income is a job. It takes dedication and effort, but you can make money. Most writers on HubPages earn extra income with their writing, but some have been able to quit their day jobs for a full-time writing opportunity with HubPages. Your earning potential is directly linked to your writing skills, the topics you choose, and the efforts you take to promote your articles on Google, Bing, Yahoo, different bookmark sites, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Are you ready to become a writer? Would you like to publish something and earn money at the same time?
