Hubpages, a Great and Friendly Writing Community
Hubpages is a great community to me. It is more than just a blog site. It is more than just a place to post articles or other writings and hope people read it. The reason I love writing and posting my accomplishments on this site is the response I get. I love when people praise my writing. It gives me a great and positive feeling that there are people out there who actually enjoy my writing. Also, I love the feedback both positive and negative. And the negative feedback is constructive criticism that really is never said to me in a negative way. And it helps make me a stronger writer.
It’s great to be a part of a writing community that helps each other out. And I love always checking out my profile to read the comments or to see if I have another follower. It is a great social network where writers can be free of guidelines and just write about what is on their mind. It is also a great support system for new writers. I have to admit, I was afraid to post my first article. It took me a few months to really get into feeling confident about my writing. It will do the same for you. I look at writing as a hobby mostly. The more I post my writings and get feedback, the more I feel that I may be able to do this as a profession.
Reading other hubs is another reason of love Hubpages. So many people write about various topics that there are so many interesting hubs to read. I cannot even begin to narrow down the topics. It is fun also to answer the clever questions that so many of the users post. Plus socializing in the forums is another way to gain followers who share a similar idea. If you are thinking about joining or already have join but are a little nervous on posting your writings don’t be, it’s a great place to start.
