In your experience, which affiliate program is most profitable on hubpages?

Updated on March 10, 2012

According to my experience, I have found HP Ad Program to be the most profitable at Hubpages. HP rolled out this affiliate program in March--April 2011 and since then I have experienced two- to three-fold increase in my overall earnings. HP ad program has been able to produce more juice from the traffic we are getting on our hubs.

Here are some points why Hubpages Ad Program has been most profitable:

  1. Hubpages ad program not only includes google adsense as their affiliate partner but also includes several advertising platforms like Microsoft Ad Center, Yahoo Advertising Solutions, and other big players. So whenever a page is loaded, one of the most profitable ad or highest bid ad is displayed around our hubs so hubpages makes more money and distributes a good part of that money via its advertising program. This is a win-win situation for everyone, hubpages as a site and also for hubbers. Before HP ad program, adsense was the only platform whose ads were displayed on HP so there was very little scope of filtering and displaying ads with maximum bids on every page load. This thing makes a huge difference and is the most important point why HP is sharing more profits with hubbers.
  2. Frankly speaking, I was making pennies in my ebay account prior to HP ad program roll out but after inclusion of ebay in HP ad program, I am earning in dollars. Thanks HP.
  3. HP ad program pays on the basis of page impressions. There is no need to wait for any clicks to happen on your account like you have to wait in your google adsense account.
  4. Increase your overall traffic and increase earnings. It’s all in your hands now. You don’t have to depend on your fortune that someone will click on your ads or not.
  5. Decrease in click fraud rates as there is no benefit of clicking on ads so no one will do that. The flat pay system works well for everyone.
  6. Minimum payout is 50 dollars as compared to google adsense where minimum payout is 100 dollars so new hubbers with less traffic can also get their money early from HP than google adsense.
  7. After meeting minimum payout, there is no need to wait for checks and deposit them in your account and then wait for the money to come like you have to do with your google checks. HP ad program pays directly in your paypal account from where you can withdraw the money to your local bank account on the same day. Current date is 28th of every month. It’s so easy. No paper work involved.
  8. Most hubbers enrolled in HP ad program have experienced at least 50% increase in earnings.
  9. HP is planning to include Amazon in HP ad program. I am sure this will also increase the overall payout we are receiving from the program. Some hubbers are against this as they are making more money from their Amazon hubs and I absolutely agree with this so one suggestion to HP is that Ebay and Amazon should not be made mandatory to be included in HP ad program.
  10. The most profitable thing about HP ad program is that while you make 80% money with HP ad program, you also keep on receiving money via your google adsense account which is around 20% of your overall earnings.

So according to me, there is nothing better than HP ad program at hubpages. If you have any questions or concerns or would like to discuss something on this, please use the comment section below to do that.
