You Are A Hero
You Are A Hero!
What makes an ordinary person a hero? I tell you, you don’t need fame, wealth, stardom, victory of war, and great accomplishment to become a hero.
Yes! You don’t have to go to war to kill the sons of other mothers to be a hero. You don’t have to die in the battlefield to be a hero. You don’t have to save someone to be a hero. You don’t have to donate huge sum of money to charity to be a hero. And you don’t have to be a Hollywood Star, politician, or President of a nation to be a hero.
Don’t get me wrong. The above courage, act of bravery, kindness and accomplishment are admirable. However, these things are not profound enough to make the world a better place.
A real hero is THE HERO WHO CARES ABOUT OTHER HUMAN BEINGS!
My friend, you are a hero but you don’t know. It’s true. You are a real hero. Every single drop of tear, sweat, and blood you shed for your family, children, friends, and strangers to lessen their suffering in this world deserve you the HONOR AND TITLE OF HERO.
God and I salute you every time you care for your spouse, your parent, your grandparent, your children, your brother, your sister, your friend, the helpless, the homeless, the weak, and the sick. God and I salute you for you are a Five Stars General fighting the war of love.
No matter what your faith is, in God’s eyes you are a hero whether you have success in life or not. You may be poor, struggling, and your future is uncertain but God doesn’t care how rich and successful you are. To Him you are braver than those who bear arms to protect a country, and purer than those who think they are righteous and spiritually saved because they have joined a religion.
You are God’s greatest hero when you worry for your love ones, friends, and strangers that they might not have food on the table; they might not have a warm place for shelter; and they might not have hope in the future. Whether you are a husband, a wife, a father, a mother, a grandfather, a grandmother, a brother, a sister, or an ordinary person, if you care for other human beings, your innate act of kindness is an act of heroism to God.
BE PROUD of yourself for your courage to serve your family, friends, and strangers even though you may suffer for it.
BE VERY PROUD that you have made a difference to spread love through your act of share and care and expect nothing in return.
BE EXTREMELY PROUD that you will never forsake those you love and never hesitate to help those in need, may it be someone you know or a stranger.
The world may not know you but God knows what a beautiful person you are. Let not hardship, poverty, disappointment, and adversity discouraged you. God has planted the power of resilience in your mind. Never think less of yourself in any way, for you are born a hero of love no matter what family background you experienced and came from. From the moment you learnt to worry for your parent, brothers and sisters, you had ignited the power of heroism within you. For now you realized everyone needs a hero in their time of needs and suffering.
You are a hero who can make a lot of difference to a lot of human beings. Believe it! You are doing it now for your mind and heart are breathing, thinking, and caring for someone you love or the stranger you want to help. This is what a real hero is. You are a hero! We are all a hero to each other by our act of kindness and generosity.
I salute you: “ATTENTION! HERO ON THE DECK!”
