I think that my account is hacked; can hubpages check it?

I started to write a new hub but while still in the midst of arranging it, the ones I had just done were "grabbed" right before my eyes. I already had pictures in it saved, and when I was trying to find it I was redirected to sign-in while I am already signed-in and another observation was, when I tried to start all over again with that hub that I was creating, there was an error which says that such hub already existed; so when I tried to sign-in any way, I noticed that when I typed the first letter of my user name many user names appeared as suggestions except my own.

Grabbed before your eyes?? Meaning it got stuck? If that's the case it does happen at times. Therefore you should always use an external editor to type and then copy paste the content (check the formatting when u paste as it tends to go haywire). The max time you can be signed into HP is 48 hours. So, when u found it stuck you may have loaded another HP page and you were directed to sign in - so it seemed as though you were already signed in and you were asked to do so again. Also when you tried to start one again - it gave u the error so check your accounts page and your hub will be there just edit it and if your lucky a major portion of your work will be saved as there is an auto save option that saves it. If at all it was hacked you wouldn't get to see many usernames - those are from your computer itself..

So - your account wasn't hacked and you have just 3 hubs who'll  try to hack your acc??

So you can rest tension free smile All the best on HP

Thank you lobobrandon; I think you're right. I actually recovered my draft but not the picture. The reason I said hacked is my phobia; I've been hacked a lot of times.

    Very Good answer Brandon.

In addition to that you can recover your photo by opening the photo capsule and going to "my photos", there you will see all the photos that you have ever uploaded to HP, just click on the one you want.

    Good luck!
