    Some hubbers have too many Amazon/ ebay products for sale in their hubs. Is it okay as per HP rules?

    I had the understanding that they should not be more than two. Moreover according to recent emails by HP, we were advised to use less number of products in our hubs and avoid if possible. Does using too many products by hubbers affect the traffic of the entire website?

    Some of the information that you are seeing may be outdated. At one time we could put multiple products in one Amazon capsule, then it was lowered to two maybe, and now only one product can be put in each Amazon Capsule.

    The HP rule:  One product per 50 words.
    No more than 2 text links to same domain.

    I keep seeing it stated that you can have one Amazon or eBay capsule per 50 words of text. I have noticed some hubs that are just advertising products...each paragraph of just over 50 words is about an Amazon product and nothing else. I know some people are only writing to make as much money as they can, but as a creative writer it is disappointing to see hubs that are purely advertising.

      You are seeing the same type of sales pages that was on Squidoo. Until Hub Pages does something about it, those type of page will continue.  All you can do is click on the report button and state the only content is about the the product.

    It is a problem and it could be part of the content farm problem Hub pages is facing. Too many ads raises a red Google flag.
