This week's Rising Star nominees are from the Travel and Places, Gender and Relationships, and Sports and Recreation Topics.
Be sure to vote for your favorites from each one.
The Hubs you read might give you some ideas on how to improve your own Hubs, or inspire you to cover a subject that had not occured to you before!
One on each Topic. New nominees will appear on Friday at noon!
I didn't think it was easy to find either. I had to keep going back into the forum to go to read the next person's nominated hub. Wouldn't it be easier to have one box with all nominee's in it as soon as people log in and then you can read, vote, or click an arrow to go to the next one. I think people would become more involved if it was that way.
This is far too byzantine.
Instead of having a list as in Hubnuggets, we are supposed to go trawling round all over the place to find these hubs?
Sorry, don't have time to mess around like this.
I'm sorry you feel that way, WriteAngled! I totally acknowledge that change is not always fun- but we thought this would be the best way to make the contest easier for people to find and understand.
It is not easier!
One list in a forum thread, so people can click through to each hub that appears promising to them from the title, is the easy option.
Sending people to dig around several topic pages is annoying. I clicked through to one of these pages and was attacked by a ghastly wave of meaningless images. I did not even know where to look for the candidate hubs and had no desire to dig around because there was no text to tell me what was going on and the endless flood of images made me feel physically sick so I had to hit the back button fast.
The winners have arrived!
