Life's Lesson - CB. (Poem)
Life is a testing mountainous road
With new challenge lurking around every turn,
And if you live it long enough
Many lessons you will eventually learn.
With over sixty years’ experience
Of traversing life’s arduous trail,
I’ve learned no matter what else you bring along
Only one accomplishment will prevail.
Love is the only moral that matters
Whatever else you might process,
To love and be loved is the only lesson
That will be judged as your life’s success.
No matter if you are extremely wealthy
Or have no penny to your account,
In the end what will be remembered
Is the love light that shown from the inside out.
