Reflections Of My Life

Everyday the news hits the airways and on the t.v.

Thanks to technology that is faster than fast

It is on the computer 1st

Saturating our mind and our next thought

How we perceive all things

What matters most

Who is right and who is wrong

Our opinions will form

The lives of some people will be changed forever

For others it is just one day of many and soon one big blur

Well for me it is shocking and sometimes quite repulsive

How bad things can happen and people just move on like it was the weather

Another cloudy day or a day of rain or even thunderstorms

Knowing this day will also pass and soon be just a reflection of my past

I want to know where all the good in life is hiding and who is covering it up so I can't see it

Where are all those people that make my life wonderful and full of happiness

So I will give you my take on the news and how I turn it around and make it better

My life is short and I am here to enjoy it the best I possibly can

I welcome others who believe like me and are willing to step up to the plate

Take notice of how grand life is and can become when we add a touch of what their day meant to them
