I had started this Hub with technical textiles which is my present interest as a qualified textile technocrat.The emergence of technical textile basically a non apparel fabric,non woven or knitted is making head way internationally in any thing which I have described in twelve applications in my earlier capsules.This goes in that application where researchers have come up with unimaginable discoveries that was never thought of 50 years ago when King Cotton,Queen Silk and the good old wool was in our life for centuries.

Now we have fabrics made with out weaving which is not a new thing as it was there 50 years ago in the reputed mill Bomby Dyeing & Manufacturing Co Ltd at Bombay now called as MUMBAI.The researchers have found the use of this fabric only after man made fibers like viscose came followed by nylon,polyester and nylon making way to other fibers like Acrylic,Polypropylene,Textured fibers and others which I will cover in further capsules.

The Smart Fabrics are in use in non woven areas like Hospitals,Hotels,Homes,Industries and even in auto industry.The other major application is the Army Uniforms,the soldier of 2050 will not look like what he is today.Use and throw fabrics,fabrics that is antistatic,fire proof,injury preventing ready made applications for industrial workers are any more.In USA the soldier of to day wears a dress like a space suit.Space suit is another smart fabric.

Oops the Panties will be invisible only if a particular color of light falls on it and not otherwise.That color of light will come with a price like a X ray.
