South Africa's Sun Ring Phenomena.

And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified:for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.

On the 1 of November 2010 a most special phenomena was seen in and around Johannesburg in South Africa at about 09h00 to 11h00. Most people came to a standstill and all was staring up into heaven. Have you ever looked up and noticed that there’s a big ring around the Sun?

This was what all were staring at and you could hear people softly murmuring, most afraid of this phenomena. Some were wondering if it is a space ship visiting Earth, while some were afraid it is the end of the World. Some even murmured that it is a sign that Jesus is coming. He told His Disciples in Matthew 24 - 25 that these Signs will appear in the heavens!

So what was this ring that could be seen?

Is this another sign from heaven for us to repent?

It is amazing that people will always look toward the spiritual when they are shocked, scared or confused? I believe that God is using signs in this time to get us closer to Him, Yes there is people that will use this to doom the world, but as seen above, God is love and He hates false people !

They say that these rings are caused by ice crystals within thin Cirrus clouds, and there several different kinds of Sun rings you can see depending on the weather conditions. This is the closes description of what we saw on the 1 of November 2010, was a 22° halo

This name for the ring is given because of the 22 degrees located away from the sun itself.

Both the Sun and moon Blocks a half degree region of the sky at a time, so the ring around the Sun is about 44 times larger than the Sun itself.

The ring is formed because of the ice crystals suspended in the cirrus clouds. If you look at the crystals under a microscope, you would see that they’re hexagonal in shape, and act as prisms for the Sun’s light. As light passes through them it acts like a prism, it’s deviated by exactly 22°.

Since the ice crystals are up randomly in the sky, most of the light is deflected away. But from every position you’re always able to see the deflected light from some of the crystals in the sky. And this is why you see the bright ring around the Sun.

When you’re looking for halos, or rings around the Sun, make sure you always shield both eyes from the Sun.

Jesus Predicts the Destruction of the Temple (Mark 13:1- 2; Luke 21:5- 6)

As Jesus left the temple and was walking away, his disciples came up to him to point out to him the temple buildings. But he said to them, "You see all these things, don't you? I tell you with certainty, there isn't a single stone here that will be left standing on top of another. They will all be torn down."

Cults, Revolutions, Famines, and Earthquakes (Mark 13:3- 13; Luke 21:7- 19)

While Jesus a was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately and said, "Tell us, when will these things take place, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"

Jesus answered them, "See to it that no one deceives you, because many will come in my name and say, 'I am the Messiah,' and they will deceive many people. You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you are not alarmed. These things must take place, but the end hasn't come yet, because nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are only the beginning of the birth pains."

Future Persecution, Apostasy, and Evangelism (Mark 13:9- 13; Luke 21:12- 19)

"Then they will hand you over to suffer a and will kill you, and you will be hated by all the nations b because of my name. Then many people will fall away, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people, and because lawlessness will in crease, the love of many people will grow cold. But the person who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, a and then the end will come."

Signs of the End(Mark 13:14- 23; Luke 21:20- 24)

"So when you see the destructive desecration, mentioned by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place (let the reader take note), a then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. Anyone who's on the housetop must not come down to get what is in his house, and anyone who's in the field must not turn back to get his coat.

Signs of the End (Mark 13:14- 23; Luke 21:20- 24)

If those days had not been limited, no one a would survive. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be limited.

"At that time, if anyone says to you, 'Look! Here is the Messiah!' or 'There he is!', don't believe it, because false messiahs and false prophets will appear and display great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Remember, I have told you this beforehand. So if they say to you, 'Look! He's in the wilderness,' don't go out looking for him. a And if they say, 'Look! He's in the storeroom,' don't believe it, because just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever there's a corpse, there the vultures a will gather."

The Coming of the Son of Man (Mark 13:24- 27; Luke 21:25- 28)

"Immediately after the suffering a of those days,
'The sun will be darkened,
the moon will not give its light,
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the powers of heaven will be shaken loose.'

Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all 'the tribes of the land a will mourn' b when they see 'the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven' c with power and great glory. He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to another."
