The Human Spirit, Alive and Well

A Rainbow in the End
A Rainbow in the End

a coming storm

A Haiku in Tribute

Seven died..such pain,

though not to have died in vain.

Human spirits came.

Uplifting souls, all,

Gave sustenance in their call,

For the big and small.

Oklahoma proud,

the message spoken so loud.

Brightens darkest cloud.

Strength shown from within,

All life shall persist, again..

With new hopes and friends.

That's beautiful! I can barely stand to watch the news or media when things like that happen, especially when children are involved.

Thanks for the tribute to Oklahomans. Many also took action in trying to help with food and clothing. Oklahomans are wonderful people.

I agree aviannovice, they are wonderful people and the world has acknowledged this and have sent prayers and many needed items, as well as money to help in the recovery. whonu

I know of this sad and tragic story from my country Canada but when I first saw this title I thought immediately of you my friend because with all of your writing and your art work you always show us and guide us with your 'human spirit.'

Sending to you my warmest wishes and good energy from Colin and Tiffy and Gabriel on this sunny Sunday morning with clear skies and warmer temperatures by lake erie time canada 11:22am
