Goodbye Autumn: Love Letter and Photo Gallery
Photo Gallery of Autumn Splendor
A letter to my favorite season of the year ~
Dear Autumn,
I want to begin by thanking you for all of the wonderful blessings you have bestowed upon me and my family. Your warm colors make our hearts glow with gladness.
Thank you for all of the beautiful colors of the leaves on the trees that light up the roads we walk along, and fall from swaying branches in the sunlight.
Thank you for the smiling sunflowers that have graced our garden with their countenance and have given us their seeds to eat.
Blessings of Beauty
Thank you for the rain that has helped our fruits and vegetables grow and ripen, and which makes the colors of the leaves even brighter.
Thank you for the winds that bring the rains and play with our hair.
Thank you for the fragrance of dried flowers, fallen leaves, and the carpets of pine needles you lay down for our feet to tread upon lightly as we run and jump.
Warm Memories
So many lovely moments have been filled with walking in the woods, throwing fallen leaves into the air, building fairy houses, and harvesting the food that we have grown in our garden. We are grateful for the meals we can make with that food, like hearty soups and salads.
I am ready for the shorter days and snowfall of winter, now. The memory of your glow will keep me warm. A fond farewell to you I send with this page, until next September.
Love,
Seafarer Mama/KSG
