Here are some of my all time favorite songs from soundtracks of films over the years. So much goes into the making of a film from the screenplay to the cinematography. Music plays a large role and is a great contributor to your falling in love with a movie.
This is just a short list but when it comes to movies and songs from their amazing soundtracks, the list can go on and on, just to remind us that a movie with a great soundtrack is not necessarily a musical!

1. Ghost
The soundtrack to the film, Ghost, starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg features the song, Unchained Melody sung by the Righteous Brothers. When I think of the movie, I always think of this wonderful song in association.

Twilight and Mist, the score for Legends of the Fall is truly beautiful. The music is by James Horner, Lyrics by Brock Walsh

In her hand lay the reins of a stallion..." The music sounds wonderful even when it is the instrumental alone, no lyrics.

Somewhere Only We Know by Keane is a very moving song that is featured in the film, The Lake House.
