Cat Bearding

Cat Bearding is a new internet craze that is taking the world by storm. Cat bearding involves strategically positioning your feline friend near to your chin, the aim is to make it look like your cat is your facial beard. The trick to getting an ideal shot is to try get your kitties' nose to touch your nose. This makes it diffcult to distinguish between where your nose starts and your cat's nose ends, and therefore makes it look like you have a big furry feline beard.

We have 3 precious kitties at home, so obviously I wanted to give this cat bearding thing a bash... haha! It's not nearly as easy as you would think! My cats are not so into cuddling and they certainly don't like being held, so it was almost impossible to get a photo of them keeping still. I was home alone so I was also trying to attempt a self-portrait whilst strategically trying to position a more than irate cat. This gave me a good chuckle, our viral craze has poor kitties all over the world being tackled for their owners' bearded shots! Oh well, I'm sure they don't mind too much... just give them an extra treat and facial scratch when you are done and I'm sure all will be forgiven.
