DISH’s Political Programming Gets Heated with Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze
On September 12, 2012, Dish Network began broadcasting Glenn Beck’s new political TV network TheBlaze. Described as a news, informational, and entertainment network, the channel features various political programming 24 hours a day and joins DISH’s current news and commentary networks such as MSNBC, BBC America, Current, Comedy Central, CNN, and FOX News.
GBTV is now available as TheBlaze on DISH
Beck’s TheBlaze began a year ago as GBTV, an online network, and its audience has grown steadily to become the world’s most subscribed-to streaming network since its debut. TheBlaze is still available to online-subscribers under its new name, TheBlaze TV, on TheBlaze.com. Want to know what TheBlaze is about before you buy? DISH CEO and President Joseph Clayton is proud to bring the network to DISH and notes that the contribution of TheBlaze to current Dish Network offerings makes DISH the “one stop for news, opinion and perspective across the full political spectrum.”
Who and what are on TheBlaze?
Programming will be led by Beck’s own daily TV show and will feature programs such as reality show Independence USA, children’s program Liberty TreeHouse, Real News, and comedy program B.S. of A.
News talents that will be featured on TheBlaze include Will Cain, SE Cupp, Andrew Wilkow, Lu Hanessian, Amy Holmes, Raj Nair, Brian Sack, and Buck Sexton.
How can I watch TheBlaze on DISH?
