Very colorful and I am sure quite impressive if they were dancing the Flamenco! What a shame that the true heritage and culture of Mexico is buried under the rubble of illegal immigrations, drugs, and smugglers. Maybe someday, this will not be the case. Thanks for reminding us that Mexico still has some good things! WB

All countries have some good things and events like Folkmoot USA are very important to remind us of that. Over the years I've met many of the performers and they're great people!

When I was young and thought I might learn to play guitar I listened to a lot of flamenco music.

Was out of town for a while, and missed the previous hub. I went to see first, as I do not know about this festival. It must be a lot of fun and excitement. These pictures capture the moments beautifully, which is normally difficult with moving dancers.

Thanks again for all the comments.

@Peggy W -- lots of clogging here in the mountains! The first year we attended Folkmoot (4 yrs ago) the USA group was a clogging group from here. Great fun!
