Tenerife Film Commission

Tenerife Film Commission have persuaded the film-makers to return to Tenerife and to take advantage of the stunning landscapes and scenery on the island for the backdrops to the action in this new fantasy film.

Mt Teide, Icod de los Vinos, Garachico and Guía de Isora are said to be some of the locations that will be used, and scenes will be filmed in mountain and forest settings.

Film stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes will be returning to their roles in the new movie but Jonathan Liebesman is going to be the replacement for Louis Letterier as director.  Gemma Arterton was going to reprise her role too but according to reports she has decided to pull out of the film.

Work on Wrath of the Titans has already begun and the other locations where it is being made are London and Wales. Wrath of the Titans is actually going to be filmed using 3D technology and is scheduled to be on general release around spring 2012.
