Talisa Maegyr is a healer from Volantis. She only appears in the TV series, she replacing Jeyne Westerling as the love interest and wife of King Robb Stark. Her relation to Malaquo Maegyr, the sitting Tiger triarch in Volantis, is unknown so far. She was murdered during the Red Wedding.

Melisandre, often called Melisandre of Asshai, is an eastern priestess and a close advisor of Stannis Baratheon. Melisandre recalls that as a small child, she was a slave named "Melony". She was sold at a young age to the temple of the Lord of Light in Asshai, eventually rising to become a priestess, and thus has spent most of her life in the service of the religion.

Shae is a prostitute who has begun an exclusive relationship with Tyrion Lannister during the time when he was fighting with his father, Tywin Lannister's army during the Battle of the Green Fork. When he is sent to King's Landing to be acting Hand of the King, he takes Shae with him as his mistress and she lives with him at the Tower of the Hand. The only person who knows she is there is Varys the Master of Whisperers. Tyrion arranged for her to work as a handmaiden to Sansa Stark, where she becomes Sansa's confidant.

Did you know: In real life, Rose Leslie is a highborn. Her father is the Aberdeenshire Chieftain of Clan Leslie and her family owns their own castle.

Ygritte is a woman of the Free Folk who lives north of the Wall. She is part of the force under the leadership of Mance Rayder, the King-Beyond-the-Wall. In later episode, she becomes Jon Snow's lover, or as the wildling call it, a spearwife.

Osha is a woman of the Free Folk, now in service to House Stark at Winterfell. After the Sack of Winterfell, Osha helps Bran and Rickon escape, along with their direwolves, the Reed siblings, and Hodor.

Played by: Esmé Bianco (British).
Did you know: The actress is also a burlesque/cabaret performer.

Ros is a prostitute and renowned beauty. Originally working in a brothel at Winterfell, on the eve of the outbreak of the War of the Five Kings Ros relocates to the capital city of King's Landing, where she finds employment at the high-class brothel of Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish. She was given to King Joffrey as cross-bow target when Baelish found out she has been betraying him.

The Handmaidens

Played by: Amrita Acharia.
Did you know: The actress is a Norwegian actress with Ukrainian and Nepalese background.

Irri is a young Dothraki woman who was given to Daenerys Targaryen as a handmaiden, along with Jhiqui and Doreah. She teaches Daenerys the Dothraki language and customs. She swears fealty to Daenerys following the death of Khal Drogo and the birth of the dragons. She is murdered by Doreah during the theft of the dragons in Qarth.

Hair colour: Dark brown.
Eyes colour: Hazel.

Played by: Roxanne McKee (Canadian-born British).

Doreah was a concubine in one of the "pleasure houses" of the Free City of Lys. She was later bought by Illyrio Mopatis and moved to his mansion in the city of Pentos. She was given to Daenerys Targaryen as handmaiden. Dany locked her up with Xaro Xhoan Daxos and it is unknown whether she survived.

Jhiqui is a young Dothraki woman who is given to Daenerys Targaryen as a handmaiden, along with Irri and Doreah. Jhiqui doesn't say much, and comes across as silent and obedient. She passed away during the crossing of Red Waste.

Missandei is a slave, born on the island of Naath in the Summer Sea, off the coast of the continent of Sothoryos. She was enslaved at a young age and currently serves Kraznys mo Nakloz, one of the Good Masters of Astapor.
