My favorite songs: July 2014

Echosmith's song, "Cool Kids" from their 2013 debut album, "Talking Dreams" is such a great song that sadly I started listening to recently this month. It is a song that I truly cannot stop listening to because of it's lyrics. To me the song is about someone not being a cool kid, someone who wishes they were cool so that they could fit in with all the rest of the other kids.

That person tries to fit in but it does not feel right to that person so the only thing that person can do is wish they were cool. Being cool is something that we all wish we were but can't.

I personally can relate to this song because there have been many times in my life where I have felt that I wish I were cool, were I have wished I could fit in, have the coolest and fancy things anyone would want but in reality that is never going to happen so I have had to learn in the hard way to accept myself in a positive way.

Listening to this song really helped me believe that I am not alone, that there are other people out there who have felt less cool and more boring. They have felt left out from the cool kids in the crowd.

I will have to say that I love this song by MKTO!:) It is such a great and happy song. It reminds me of how much I like vintage fashion and vintage things:). Vintage is what I go for because it means that you are unique and that you will not settle with trying to be like everyone else.

"Colours" is one of my favorite tracks off of Grouplove's first album, "Don't Trust A Happy Song." The lyrics of this song is about loving yourself, accepting your colours no matter what others say about you.

This song is also about living your life to your fullest and to not let worry and hurt take over you.

Yeah! Today we are all perfect:) The world is full of crazy things, good and bad things, mean and nice people.

There might be people in your life who will try to tell you not to do this, or not to do that because it is not right.

For me it's right to follow my own heart and to think for once that I am perfect in my own way.

This song is my personal motivational song because it's about chasing after your own dreams no matter how big or impossible they may seem to others around you.

This song has become my anthem to not giving up my dream of publishing my own stories. Every time when I feel that I can't go on I like to hear this song and just be reminded of how beautiful it is to chase your own dreams.
