Emilia Clarke's Early Life
Emilia was born on 23 October 1986 in London. Her father is a theatre sound engineer and her mother is a businesswoman. She has one younger brother. They both grew up in Berkshire, England. Emilia attended St. Edward's School of Oxford from 2000 to 2005. Later she went to study at Drama Centre London and graduated from there in 2009. Her first television appearance was on BBc's Doctors (2000) as a guest role.

Before her first role on television as Saskia Mayer on Doctors in 2009, Emilia worked in two plays at St. Edwards, ten plays at Drama Centre London and in two commercials for Samaritans.In 2010 she played a role named Savannah in Triassic Attack.
In 2010, Emilia replace a british actress Tamzin Merchant and was casted as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's series Game of Thrones. She has appeared in all the six seasons of Game of Thrones and is now working in the seventh season as well. Emilia won the Best Supporting Actress at The EWwys Awards in 2011 for her role as Daenerys.
In 2012, Emilia was starred in Spiked Island. In 2013, from March to April she played a role in Broadway Production of Breakfast at Tiffany's. In the same year, she also starred in Dom Hemingway.
In 2014,Emilia was offered the role of Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey, but she turned down the offer. This year she was voted the most desired women in the world by Askmen readers.
In 2015, she played a role of Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys. And was named Sexiest Women alive by Esquire.
In 2016, she played a lead role in Me Before You, which was the movie adaptation of the best selling novel. Her upcoming movie will be Voice from the stone.
