Laughing Mom - I have always like Elizabeth Taylor since I saw National Velvet but I really learned some very interesting things about her and the men she was with.

G-Ma - I totally remembering hearing about that but could not find any information about it and was not sure if that was something that I had thought up on my own or not. I would really like to know all the loves of JFK too. She was a stunning woman still is very vivacious too.

Cris - She was a very very busy lady and that is not a complete list at all. I do have to bow down to her. It was a pleasure to do, I am looking forward to the other two!!

Lady G - Yes I read that was his real last name Richard Walter Jenkins. That is cool.

Elizabeth Taylor was a rare beauty and it is not surprising that she had so many men in tow. I do think she got a bit carried away with the marriages though!

Yes she is a rare beauty. I was surprised by the men because those are just the ones we know about. I am certain that there are many more. The marriages are just the icing; very funny to me. But she still rocks it.

Wow. That really is a lot of lovers. She was quite an interesting person. I forgot that she won a couple of Oscars when she was younger--I heard that on the radio today. I mostly remember her from her perfume commercials and from marrying a construction worker!

Elizabeth Taylor remarried Richard Burton in Chobe, Botswana in 1975. They were on safari there, staying at the Chobe Game Lodge. A friend of mine, who was a Peace Corps volunteer in the area, stood in as witness and told me about it later. He said her eyes really were as violet as the media said they were. I was a Peace Corps volunteer a little futher south in Maun, Botswana at the time.
