Winkworth Arboretum Photos
Below you can find a selection of photos that I took at the Winkworth Arboretum recently (Autumn 2012)
If you live in the UK and are passing this area (Godalming, Surrey, United Kingdom) during spring or Autumn then I definitely recommend visiting the Arboretum at Winkworth.
Expect lots of colour amid three separate walks, a lake and lots of wooded areas.
The Arboretum can get busy on weekends during Spring and Autumn but is more tranquil during the week.
Opening Hours and Pricing
The Winkworth Arboretum is only free to members of the National Trust, if you are not a member then the following entry prices apply: (2012)
You can reclaim the cost of entry if you pay to become a member of the National Trust on your day of visit, assuming you purchase the membership at the Arboretum.
The Arboretum is usually open from 10am - 6pm during the summer and 10am - 4pm in winter but you should always check their website before making any plans as these times are subject to change.
There is a way-marked route suitable for wheelchair users but there are also plenty of steps and steep hills on other routes.
