What is your favorite Futurama episode that was filled with so much emotion it snuck up on you?

One of my favorites is the episode where Fry is searching for his lucky four leaf clover and for the entire episode he thinks his brother Quincy stole it and he's angry. As the episode contiues, we learn that his brother found it (after Fry was frozen) while looking for songs for his wedding, and he ended up giving the clover to his son whom he names after his little brother Fry who, as they knew, dissapeared. The son then became an important entrepreneur  and person in the history of Old New York. What is one of yours??

I'm with you on "Luck of the Fryrish."  It is one of those amazing Futurama episodes that mixes its humor with sincere emotion rooted in the characters.

Right! There are plenty more episodes that just get me, probably the reason I like watching that show.

Luck of The Fryrish for sure. It tells you so much about Fry's past, and also about how his family (especially his brother) loved him and missed him dearly. Very emotional.

Well, I was going to say the clover episode, but everyone beat me to it. Instead I'll say the episode where Bender meets god in a distant part of the universe. I don't remember a whole lot about the episode, but in the end, Bender has to come back to save his friends because god won't. The episode then ends with god (the cluster of stars and gas) saying "When you do something right, people won't be certain you've done anything at all." (not a direct quote). I always found that to be a very mind bending episode for a comedy cartoon about aliens and robots.
