Funny international TV ads

Funny, hilarious and clever TV ads and TV commercials from the four corners of the world. What makes a TV ad funny is personal of course, and the choice on this page is mine, but I am sure you'll enjoy at least a few in the list. International TV ads can be obscure if you don't have the key to understand it, so whenever necessary I'll provided some background. I hope these funny commercials will brighten your day!

I'm not telling you, can you guess what they advertise? By the way it's a bit creepy but the finale is hilarious....

The Alberta (Canada) public libraries sure have a sens of humor.

This is my favorite from the many they have done.

I just can't stop laughing at this one.

This TV ad is my all time favorite. The original title of the French movie "March of the Penguin is "La marche de l' Empereur" (March of the Emperor, as in emperor penguin). And in France when you think Emperor you think Napoleon Bonaparte...this TV ad for a movie channel is an amazingly fun hijacking of that movie.

Some beer and car commercial can be funny

Exequo among the most boring ads on TV, worldwide, are cars and beer commercials.

Beer TV ads are most of the time following pretty much the same pattern: a group of alpha men drinks beer surrounded by bimbos, with various local, regional or holidays variants.

The targeted audience must have drank too much of the product anyway to care or understand anything else I guess.

As for car commercials, they are probably among the most difficult to do because they need to focus on performance and look. So they usually end up in just showing a beautiful car, on an empty road, driven by successful people. Then the ad points out a few technical aspect of the car, on music performed by the most promising Indie group.

I want to share with you a few different beer and car ads: original, fun, intelligent.

One great car ad. They want you to remember one single point: the Smart is so small, it doesn't even have backseats.....and to make sure you understand why backseats are bad, they provides you with some classic movie scenes.....

The Peugeot 206 is hotter than an Bollywood star, and not having one just plain suck. But fear not, that indian guy is full of resources.....

You have been warned! This beer ad doesn't have any sexy girls in it!!

To the very basic beer drinker, this may cause dizziness and various other sickness.
