Bridesmaid to Hire
More over Kristen Wig, you can be replaced by a designated Bridesmaid provided by Jen Glanz.
This gal, who has always been a Bridemaid never a bride seen a need that Brides were thirsting for. Yes, they have a wedding planner but they are just missing one Bridesmaid. She put her services on CraigsList and got a whopping number of requests.
Are you kidding me? I was intrigued after hearing her interview on the radio. So when I arrived home I jumped on my computer and there it was. The website was called Bridesmaid for hire.
"Always a bridesmaid, never a bride."
Why Hire a Professional Bridemaid?
Weddings are expensive for friends and family. For many, it requires traveling hundreds of miles to attend engagement parties, showers, and the actual day itself. If you’re in the bridal party, it often requires a big commitment in time and energy. While you may want to have specific friends and family as part of your “big day” they may not be able to fly across the country to help you shop for a dress, know where to start when it comes to planning your bridal shower, or have the evenings open to chat on the phone about what’s on your to-do list that week and the wedding challenges and roadblocks you’re knocking into. By hiring a Professional Bridesmaid, you can still honor your friends and family by having them be your bridesmaids, but without the burden or the “dirty work”. The Professional Bridesmaid does all the heavy lifting – so you and your girls can focus on the fun.
How much money will it cost?
This idea sounds wonderful, but how much will it cost? it has to be expensive.
Jen has different packages that she can alter or expand for your budget. Her services can
range anywhere from $199 to $1000. That reallly is not too bad I was imagining much more.

To Sum Things Up
At first, I was pretty shocked to hear about this. But the more I read on Jen's website it actually makes a lot of sense. Why should I be shocked, there are websites to buy a bride. I guess I am a littlle old fashion. I planned my entire wedding myself. I really did not have a choice, since I had a very low budget. I guess, the thing that bothers me is how can you have a "hired bridesmaid" who is not friends with you or the others in the wedding party?
