Cheap and Fun Things To Do With Your Children

With summer coming kids are going to have tons of time on their hands it can get hectic for parents to keep them occupied. What can you do to keep your family busy without breaking the bank? This is something that I have been confronted with many times. When it comes down to it there are so many things that you can do with your kids that are inexpensive.

1. Go to the Park
2. Go to the Library - some libraries even have summer reading programs for all ages
3. Go to the Beach - you can make a game out of finding sea creatures
4. Have a picnic - have your children help to make the food to take they will enjoy this.
5. Go for a bike ride - fun and great exercise too
6. Go for a walk/hike - make if fun, its all about discovery and what you see on your walk
7. Go fishing

Truly the list is endless, sometimes I ask my children what they would like to do and incorporate their ideas. Use your imagination and use what is available to you and you will find that you can have fun without high costs.
