Alcohol and Soda: Quick and Easy Mixed Drinks - Apple Pie and Other Mix Recipes
There are infinite combinations of fluids which make very delicious drinks. However, I like carbonated drinks a lot and have been combining sodas and alcohol to come up with good drinks. In this I will outline good combinations I have found as well as some tips and tricks to follow. I suggest specific brands but of course you can get any brand you want that has similar flavor.
The best thing about this combination is soda is cheap and definitely extends your alcohol supply, plus makes it so it tastes better for those guests (or yourself) who enjoy delicious drinks rather than just straight alcohol.
Tips and Tricks
Be sure to know what you like and experiment! There are millions of combinations and you can always find something new to love.
Be sure to be careful around certain flavors. Cherry and Grape are specific flavors that you may want to be wary of. Cough syrup is a mix of said flavor and alcohol, so you may soon feel like you are drinking a glass of cough syrup.
Don't buy the best. When mixing with soda the more fine alcohols will be deluded and degraded - you are only as good as your lowest quality ingredient. Don't buy 100 dollar vodka to put in a 1 dollar drink.
Adjust alcohol as you deem fit. Everyone has different tastes, and everyone has different tolerances. Add more, add less - experimentation is key to making what you love.
