Mice Candies For The Holidays.

Every year I look for new candies or cookies to make for the holidays. The mice are cute and they are so good. I found this recipe in an old 2010 Midwest Living Magazine. They have a video on how to make them and I have to say they are so easy to make and they are adorable. Click here to watch the video, Midwest Living Magazine.

I have also given you photos from my kitchen on how to make them. All the candies are great for bake sales or if you have a booth for a Christmas Walk in your town. We have a Christmas Walk every year and I have often made crafts to sell but bake goods are also good sellers.

Bing-A-Ling-Candy

I found this recipe in the same magazine, but it is online Midwest Magazine. These are a little harder to make and a little sticker. Make sure to use the big marshmallows because the little ones don't work as well. I forgot to buy the big marshmallows and used the little ones I already had. It was hard to figure out how many of the little marshmallows to use.

The candy is delicious. This candy was also made in my kitchen.

Pretzel Treats

I have no idea where this candy first came from. I thought I would give them a try. They are easy to make and you just follow the steps in the photos below.

This is a very simple recipe and anything can be used. You can also use whatever colors you want for whatever holiday. My platter shows the different colors, some for Halloween and some for Christmas. I like using sprinkles on just about everything I make at Christmas they give that festive look. Let me lose in a baker store and I head for the sprinkles first.

Chocolate Star Candy from any company or the kind you get in a package for the holidays.

A mixture of different candies and nuts.

Au fait, Thank you for stopping by I appreciate it. I had to redo this hub to make it pass Hubpages so now it's on and I hope it is going to be ok. I hated taking down the recipes but I had to do that even though I stated where they had come from. I see so many recipes on here that have been taken from other sites and the food has never been cooked yet they never get taken down. I try to always put up hubs where I have actually cooked the food. I'm venting on my own hub.

These little mice really are so cute and adorable! They would be just perfect for a holiday plate of candies and cookies. The other candies here look delicious too, and all seem easy to make, which is so important during a busy holiday season.

I love old recipe books and magazines too. They often have great ideas that no one has thought of for a while so they seem new again. So glad you are sharing this with me and everyone.

Voted up, BAUI, pinned to my 'Christmas II' board, and will share with my followers.
