Ingredients:
* 1 poundbutter
* 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
* 2/3 cup dark brownsugar * 7eggs
* 6 ounces baker's unsweetenedchocolate
* 4 1/2 cupspastry flour
* 1 tspbaking powder
* 2 tspbaking soda
* 2/3 cupcocoa
* 2 tsp purevanilla extract
* 2 1/2 cups butter milk

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat the eggs and put aside.

3. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over hot water and let it cool completely.

4. Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa. Add the vanilla to the buttermilk.

5. Now add the the previosuly melted chocolate to the egg and butter mix. Mix alternately the dry ingredients as well as the buttermilk .

6. Place cupcake liners into muffin tins and fill them up halfway with the batter. This should produce between 18-30 cupcakes depending on the size of your tins.

7. Put in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

8. Add frost with butter cream only after the cupcakes are thoroughly cooled. Additional decorations can be made.
