How to make Aam Panna Juice - Recipe using Green Mango
Refreshing Raw Mango or Aam Panna Drink
If you are not an Indian you might be wondering what an aam panna drink is. Aam Panna is a delicious drink made of Green Mangoes. This is mostly a seasonal drink but you can also get this at many departmental stores in bottles throughout the year.
How to make Aam Panna or Green Mango Drink? Given below are the ingredients and method of preparation of this delightful juice recipe.
Ingredients of Green Mango Drink
- 6 medium sized unripe or raw Green Mango
- 1 tsp Dry roasted cumin seed powder
- 1/2 tsp Red chili Powder
- ½ cup chopped fresh Mint Leaves
- 1 tsp Salt
- 6 tsp Sugar or Sugar Substitute
- 12 ice cubes
Method of Preparation of Aam Panna
Heat water in a saucepan and drop the unripe mangoes into it. Close the lid and allow the water to boil for another 10 minutes. Remove from the stove and drain the water off the mangoes and allow cooling. Once cool peel of the skin of mangoes and remove the pulp into a bowl using a spoon. Once the pulp is extracted from all the mangoes, add cumin seed powder, red chili powder, sugar and salt and mix well using a fork. Now add the finely chopped mint leaves and whisk again. To this mixture add chilled water and ice cubes and by stirring thoroughly. Your refreshing Aam panna drink is now ready. You may now serve the green mango juice to the guests or family members and be ready to hear that it tastes wonderful.
