Mississippi Mud Cake

Here is one of the best recipes ever for Mississippi Mud Cake. This cake is so rich and delicious.

For Your Mississippi Mud Cake Recipe You Will Need.

1. 1 Cup Real Butter.

2. 2 Cups Granulated Sugar.

3. 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa.

4. 4 Large Eggs.

5. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract.

6. 1 Teaspoon Salt.

7. 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour.

8. 1 1/2 Cups Pecans Chopped Up Fine.

9. 1 16 Ounce Bag Marshmallows.

For Your Frosting You Will Need.

1. One 1 Pound Package Confectioner's Sugar.

2. 1/2 Cup Milk.

3. 1/4 Cup Real Butter.

4. 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa.

You will want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. For your cake in a large bowl whisk together the butter , sugar , cocoa , eggs , vanilla and salt. Stir in the flour and chopped pecans. Mix your cake mixture together very well being sure to have all your ingredients mixed together well.

Now spray a 13"X9" pan with Pam vegetable spray and pour your cake batter in. You want to bake for 25-30  minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from the oven and top with the marshmallows and return to the oven for 5 minutes.

For the frosting beat the confectioners sugar , milk , butter and cocoa powder together and drizzle over the warm cake. You want to cool your cake completely before you cut your cake.
