Popcorn Kingdom in Panama City Florida Review

If you're a popcorn fan and you find your way to Panama City Beach, Florida, you'll want to make sure to stop by Pier Park shopping mall, as that's where the Popcorn Kingdom is located.

Now, personally, I'm not a big popcorn fan, but my boyfriend is. When he and his friends walked through Pier Park mall, he disappeared at the smell of fresh popcorn. His friends knew exactly where he was once they realized he had disappeared. There, they all found that popcorn comes in more than a handful of flavors, and there they all purchased bags of popcorn and tasted tons of flavors with the free samplings.

I'll admit, when he told me that he spent $30 on popcorn, I flipped. But, he did get 2 large bags, a medium bag, and a small or two (or something like that anyway). To me, though, $30 on popcorn is ridiculous.

But, before we left Panama City Beach, he had to take my by the store... Guess what? I also walked out with about $30 worth of popcorn.

There were tons of different flavors to choose from. Different bag sizes, and even different tins that you an buy and fill up.

He purchased: chocolate, vanilla, dill, salt and vinegar, and a few other flavors. I purchased: cajun, salt and vinegar, ranch, and dill. Personally, the ranch wasn't nearly as good as the salt and vinegar or the cajun.

Oh, and you don't have to get just one bag of one flavor, you can mix different flavors.

Popcorn Kingdom offers about 45 flavors of popcorn to choose from. The flavors are divided amongst original flavors, savory, candied, and mixed. The mixed groups are tried and true mixes of popcorn flavors that the company has found people love.

Once you've tested all the popcorn that sounds good, you want to make your purchase. You can choose from different size bags- XL, L, M, S- as well as different size tins- 3.5 gallon, 2.5 gallon, and 1 gallon. If you decide to get a tin of popcorn, you can choose from a plain metal tin or one with a pretty design; the larger the tin, the more flavors you can mix in there, just like the holiday popcorn tins that contain three or sometimes four different types of popcorn.

If you go to a movie store or to the theaters, you've probably seen the popcorn seasonings for sale. They come in small bottles ranging from many different flavors. Most of the time, though, movie theaters only carry Butter, Popcorn Salt, White Cheddar, and Nacho popcorn seasoning, but that doesn't mean that those are the only options available.

There are tons of popcorn seasonings available by Kernel Season's for sale at the Popcorn Kingdom. I learned of all the different flavors on my visit to Popcorn Kingdom. I don't know if that's how they get their different flavors of popcorn, but they do sell the different seasonings, which is great because if you find something that you like, you may not be able to get back to the store to purchase more, so the seasonings make a great alternative.
