Snoop Dogg Gin and Juice Recipes

Gin and Juice- Snoop Dogg

Gin is a great spirit to make cocktails with, and today I'm going to run through a few variations of gin and juice. First of all, a cocktail is only going to be as good as the liquor you use to make it with. I recommend Tanqueray if you don't mind paying extra for a nicer gin, otherwise any cheaper gin that you like will do just fine. Remember to keep your gin in the freezer prior to mixing for a refreshing beverage.

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 2 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • 3 oz Orange Juice
  • 1 lime

Classic Gin and Juice

Combine the gin, grapefruit juice, and orange juice in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake and serve in a highball glass, or jar for a more rustic feel. Garnish with lime, extra lime juice can be added to taste for refreshment on hot days.

My personal favorite is Tanqueray especially for nice occasions

Simple Gin and Juice

This classic is essentially a screwdriver with gin instead of vodka. It makes for a delicious punch bowl and is definitely an option for people trying to ball on a budget. Don't forget to keep it cool with ice, and adding a little lime or lemon can spice it up a bit if you so desire.

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 6 oz Orange Juice

Tropical Gin Rickey

A typical gin rickey with a Hawaiian influence, POG juice can be found at most stores and is very useful to have if you are going to be mixing. Serve on ice with a lime garnish and an umbrella if you are particularly fancy.

  • 2 oz Gin
  • .5 oz Lime Juice
  • 3 oz Club Soda
  • 2 oz POG Juice (Pineapple, Orange, Guava)

  • 2 oz gin
  • 2 oz cider
  • 4 oz orange juice

Cider Gin and Juice

This take on gin and juice combines cider and gin, which go together quite well. Juniper and apple create a very crisp flavor while the orange juice makes the drink sweet. Try dropping a shot of gin into a full mug of cider for an interesting twist on the classic jager-bomb. Dry cider works best if you include orange juice because otherwise it will be too sugary.

Which drink was your favorite?

Make your Own!

Make your own variation of gin and juice for your next get together. The cool thing about gin and juice is that it can be altered for any occasion, or price range. Make a tonic variation with citrus for summer, or a classic recipe with top shelf gin for an upscale night. Feel Free to comment with your own take on this classic made famous by none other than snoop doggy dogg.
