Sour Cream Herb Dip Recipe
Ariel: So Noel, did you bring the cream?
Noel: I sure did cousin...( Handing her a pail )
Ariel: What’s this?
Noel: Sour cream..
Ariel: It smells rancid
Noel: Yeah you know how long I had to leave it outside so the milk can go sour. Three days.
Ariel: There is a difference between sour and rotten! This is rotten!
Noel: I’m your cousin, why don’t you ever show me some love?
Ariel: You don’t even know what love is Noel.
Noel: I bet you don’t either..
Ariel: What? Of course I do. Love is an intense feeling you have for a person. That feeling that makes you warm up inside.. Fills you with that binding urge you get from personal ties. It’s a strong feeling.
Noel: I have those feelings for you Ariel, but I’m pretty sure it’s hate.
Ariel: Sour Cream Herb Dip is today’s recipe!
Noel: Oh yeah, I remember this recipe, smells like an old woman’s shoe with her feet still in it.
Ariel: Here’s what you’ll need for today’s recipe.
1 C. Dairy sour cream.- 1/4 tsp. Salt- 1/4 C. Chopped parsley-. 1/4 C. Chopped chives. -1 T. Chopped fresh dill. Now if you can’t get the fresh herbs you can use
1/4 tsp. Parsley flakes.- 1/4 tsp. Dried dillweed.- 1tsp. Chives. Keeping in mind that fresh herbs is always better.
Now, mix all the ingredients together well. Then Cut vegetables...
Noel: I don’t see the vegetables I need in the ingredients list.
Ariel: We are putting together a dip.
Noel: And?
Ariel: You need something to dip.. So just sit and listen!
Noel: I’m just saying... I would have been very pissed if I went to the store and bought the ingredients you have on the list and then tell me to cut some vegetables up that I didn’t buy because they were not on the list.
Ariel: But Noel, we’re making a dip. Common sense says you can’t eat a dip by itself.
Noel: I would still be pissed Ariel...
Ariel: Okay! Cut the vegetables that I should have put on the list, such as carrots, celery, cauliflower, broccoli, etc. to the appropriate dipping size.
Noel: Now was that too difficult?
Ariel: You know Noel, the feelings I have for you is getting stronger than ever.
Noel: Love?
Ariel: Hate!
