Now I know what you are thinking, Why is a flea market on this list and is that a truck shaped like a Hamburger? Having been around for over thirty years, the Westport flea market, also known as the flea, is a bar and grill with a cool nostalgic atmosphere. surrounded by pinball machines and other classic gems, the Flea and their Hamburger mobile have Won Kansas Cities Best burger award and have been featured on food networks "Meat and Potato." They only take cash and you have to order your food at the bar, but they offer an ATM and the food is well worth it.

Known for their Many flavors of Bubble tea's, Bloi Koi was featured on Food Networks "Diners, drive in's and dives" for their traditional Chinese cuisine. Since first opening in 2002, Blue Koi has since opened another restaurant in Kansas city that offers the same great food as it's predecessor. If you're looking for Traditional Chinese food with a nice relaxing atmosphere than stop into either location for a nice lunch or dinner.

What Kansas City Restaurant list would be complete without a Barbecue Place? Well Char Bar In Westport Kansas City is the barbecue place to end all barbecue places. What was once the Beaumont Club, the Char bar has since taken off as one of the hottest spots to grab a bite to eat. With a patio that has fire pits and lets guests play croquet, to the Inside which has a brick wall industrial feel and a fully stocked bar, it's no wonder Char Bar was featured in 435 as one of the best new night life places to eat.
