Embrace autumn. Think, pumpkins, falling leaves, beautiful colors, Halloween. Then picture yourself wrapped up in a blanket near the fireplace, sipping on…….a cocktail! Nothing better to get you through the long autumn nights than a delicious fall-inspired beverage. Here are our Top Fall Drink Recipes for 2013.
Bailey’s Caramel Appletini
Nothing screams fall more than a giant caramel apple. Gooey caramel coating a gigantic juicy red delicious. Mmm. But why not take those flavors and throw them into an adult beverage? In this version of a classic appletini, combine the rich flavor of Bailey’s Caramel Irish Cream, with Smirnoff Green Apple Vodka and voila, perfection in its finest form.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 uz Baileys Caramel Irish Cream
- 1/2 oz Smirnoff Green Apple Vodka
- 1 apple slice
- 1 tsp caramel
DIRECTIONS
Add Baileys & Smirnoff together.
Shake w/ ice and strain into a pre-chilled martini glass.
Garnish with the apple slice and caramel.
Cinnamon Toast
This drink is hot. Literally! Warm up any autumn evening with this Captain Morgan concoction. Four ingredients, one step and one enjoyable cocktail.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/4 oz Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
- 6 oz hot apple cider
- 1 TBS sugar
- 1 TBS cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Add Captain Morgan and hot apple cider to a glass pre-rimmed with sugar and cinnamon.
The Great Pumpkin
Pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin protein shakes. This fall season, pumpkin has officially taken over. So why not transform this fantastic flavor into a savory sweet blend? This creamy cocktail is full of fall flavor. Make sure you shake hard to get a decent frothy foam.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ozs pumpkin beer
- 1 oz Bonded rye
- 1 oz Apple Brandy
- 0.5 ounce Maple Syrup
- 1 whole egg
- Ice
- Whole nutmeg for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Add pumpkin beer, rye, apple brandy, and syrup to a mixing glass.
Swirl for 30 secs.
Add egg and shake (no ice!) until foamy.
Add ice, shake well, and strain into chilled glass.
Garnish with grated nutmeg.
Candy Corn Cordial
Everyone’s favorite Halloween candy is now in cocktail form. The sweet flavors of candy corn and schnapps add to this delicious mix, perfect for any Halloween get together.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ounce Tequila
- ½ ounce butterscotch schnapps
- ½ ounce Crème de Cacao
- 2 ounces fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon dark cocoa
- 4-5 pieces candy corn
DIRECTIONS
Rim a martini glass with OJ then cocoa powder.
In a shaker, add butterscotch schnapps, tequila, crème de cocoa and more OJ.
Add ice and shake well.
Strain into chilled martini glass.
Garnish with a piece of orange & toothpick of candy corn.
Bourbon Chai
The rich, spicy warmth of chai is a perfect drink for a cold winter's day — and it's made even more warming with the addition of a bourbon like Maker's Mark, whose notes of clove, vanilla, and caramel marry perfectly with the ingredients in the chai.
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CHAI:
- 6 cups prepared Chai tea
- 6 cups unsweetened almond milk
- ⅓ cup honey or agave
- 1 cup spice-forward bourbon, like Maker's Mark
DIRECTIONS
Make the chai: In a 4-quart saucepan, combine tea pod with 6 cups hot water.
Simmer over medium-high heat and add almond milk & honey or agave, whisking quickly.
Remove from heat, & steep 10-15 minutes.
Strain thoroughly.
Ladle chai into individual mugs and portion 1 oz. bourbon into each.

Frankenpunch
Nothing says October like a good Frankenstein reference. Sure to be a hit at any Halloween gathering, this cocktail has notes of melon and its anagram counterpart, lemon. Simple and saucy, this recipe is sure to serve up a kick this Halloween season.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ounce. Midori Melon Liqueur
- 2 ounce sweet and sour mix
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- Lemon wedge
DIRECTIONS
Pour all ingredients into a glass filled with ice.
Stir.
Garnish with a lemon wedge.
The Zombie
The perfect drink to kick off any Halloween party. This drink was created in the late 1930’s trying to cure a hangover! After reading the ingredient list, we have no idea how it could. At least four different rums combine for this deliciously daring drink. We wish you luck.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 oz white rum
- 1 1/2 ozs golden rum
- 1 oz dark rum
- 1/2 oz 151-proof rum
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 tsp pineapple juice
- 1 tsp papaya juice
- 1 tsp sugar
DIRECTIONS
Stir together all the ingredients except the 151 and pour into a 14-ounce glass 3/4 full of cracked ice.
Float the 151 ontop (by pouring it into a spoon and gently dipping it under the surface of the drink).
Garnish with mint and/or fruit.
