Easy Watermelon Drink
Ingredients
- 1 small watermelon
- 1/2 of juice of one lime
- 1 pinch cardamom
Watermelon Drink or Slushy Instructions
- The watermelon may be seedless or not. If you have diverticulitis do NOT leave the seeds in. This recipe is fine with the seeds blended up and left in.
- Remove the pink flesh from the watermelon and blend to smooth. Add the juice from ½ of a lime. Add a pinch of cardamom. Stir. Drink cooled or freeze to eat later like a slushy or Italian Ice. This is a nice evening cooler.

How to buy cardamom at a friendly price
Cardamom can be very expensive to purchase. Go to a store that sells herbs from bins. Purchase a bit of the cardamom. This will bring the price down from $10 a jar to .50 for a small amount more than sufficient for this and other recipes. My store of choice is Sprouts.
