B.B,Q. TIPS-QUICK GRILLED POTATOES
If you like potatoes like I do I even like them on the grill as much as I can and on the 4 I am doing some more.
Here is a quick tip on how you can make some tasty grilled potatoes that your family and friends are going to love.
Grilled Potato Skewers
We all if your cooking potatoes placing them straight on the grill is going to take a whole lot of time to cook but what I do is cut that time in half by using the microwave to par - cook the potatoes then I finish then on the grill by placing them on skewers.
For these potatoes I am using my Chili Garlic Season Blend
Ingredients
2 pounds red potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
6 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
3 tablespoons of my chili garlic seasoning blend, or your favorite seasoning
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Methods
To get started making these grilled potatoes peel the skin off the potatoes then cut potatoes into 1/2-inch pieces. Then wash off the potatoes pat dry then place them on a microwave safe dish and microwave the potatoes for about 10 minutes then remove to let the cool before placing onto the skewers.
After you microwave your potatoes they should be about half way done and a little bit tender when they are cool enough place the diced potatoes into a large bowl add the olive oil using your hands coat the potatoes then add your seasoning blend and then place the potatoes on the skewers making space between them putting about 4 to 5 potatoes on each skewers depending on the size of the potato.
Now that you have the potatoes on the skewers place your potatoes on the hottest part of the grill to get some grill marks then move to the coolest and let them grill for 10 to 12 minutes or until soft enough to squeeze with you fingers at that point they are ready to serve and enjoy.
