So today I decide to use this ground turkey breast to make this tasty Turkey Teriyaki recipes but with a twist I going to make Turkey Teriyaki Meatballs that my family really enjoys and with theses flavors inside yours will too.
Turkey Teriyaki Meatballs
Ingredients
¾ lb. extra-lean ground turkey breast
2 Tbsp. flax meal
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 tsp peeled, grated fresh gingerroot
1 egg white, beaten
1 tbsp. Canola Oil
1 ½ cups snow pea
1 cup frozen Edamame, thawed
1 garlic clove, minced
¼ cup less-sodium soy sauce
4 cups thinly sliced Napa cabbage
Methods
Using a large bowl add your turkey, flax meal, and the remaining 3 ingredients and then mix well to combine all of the ingredients very well then shape into nice size meat balls 1 inch in size. Now using a nonstick fry pan heat up some canola oil over a medium heat for a few minutes then start adding your meat balls and let them ok for 10 minutes but keep moving them around so they can cook evenly and are done at this point remove meatballs to a dish and cover to keep warm.
Using the same fry pan using a medium setting toss in your snow peas, garlic and edamame and sauté for 3 minutes then reduce the heat down to low heat settings add in your soy sauce then stir very well and add your meatballs continue stirring to combine while this is cooking place your cabbage on a serving platter and spoon your meatballs onto the cabbage serve and enjoy, for me and my family I add some rice to complete the dish.
