I like to look to see where searches are coming from. Sometimes I don't recognize which country it is until I google it! I just checked a hub and found searches from
google.fi - Finland
google. se - Sweden
google. dk - Denmark
google. sa - South Africa
google. ph - Philippines
google. au - Australia
among more common ones like UK and CA. This was on my Max Martin hub.
Where do some of your more obscure searches come from and on which hub, no links.
hmmm.. no one has interesting domains searching for one of your hubs, or no one is here tonight? I guess I'm sort of geeky that way.
I seem to get more searches from these places than the UK or the USA on al my hubs under both my names and on my website - even in the spots where they rank number one and get steady traffic.
that's interesting. I have been noticing more of them since Panda, although the bulk of my google traffic still comes from .com. It's fun to see the different domains.
it's late here, so I'm off to the dream world. thanks for responding.
I found this helpful page with all the country codes.
http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/doc … codes.html
SA is not South Africa, it's Saudi Arabia. South Africa is ZA..
On that same hub, I found
HU- Hungary
BR- Brazil
On another one I found
NL- Netherlands
Ru- Russia
IN- India
DE- Germany
Has anyone ever had a search from Iceland or Christmas Island..?
Yes, I have had 2 visits from Iceland. 2 from Senegal. 2 from Novosibrisk (Russia).
But I don't usually look at individual hubs for that info - I look at Google Analytics.

Hi Maita, nice #'s. I think it's fun to see where searches originate. I like that HP has this handy feature on our hubs.

My profile has been searched by people from 167 different countries in total!

US - UK - CA - Are the top 3.
why would you want to hide?
I just checked the map in analytics and I've been visited from 189 countries, which I'm sure some include hubbers.
PD- I have 459 searches from NZ.
more visitors I found, then I am leaving for the beach!

Iran
South Korea
Laos
Vietnam
Myanmar
It's interesting, humbling, amazing to see that your page has been viewed all over the world.
I know.
It's how the internet works. Still good though.
It is rather interesting and humbling, now I want to figure out the missing countries... [it's a teacher thing.. and one of my grandfathers read entire sets of encyclopedias] I was very pleased to see considerable time spent on one of my hubs from the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea, probably in reference to WW11. I don't think they were shopping!
funny, RoB!!
Maita, no problem with #'s, that's fine! I'm simply curious.
Oh that's pretty cool 189 countries!
We ought to have a Sweepstake on who gets the most from Ross Dependancy and North Korea
Don't worry - 376 of your kiwi visits were Travelexpresso and I
Cool, lots of visits from almost all countries!! HP writers are just popular!

Wondering if Google instant is going to reduce views to hubs focused on long string keyword searches.Thoughts people.

I thought that the order of keywords in a Title did not matter and likewise that the order of keywords entered for a Google Search did not matter. However when you do a search for - Green Tea Health Benefits (A) - and for - Health Benefits of Green Tea (B) - both without quotes the results are...

I don't know if it is just a coincidence, but Googster is boycotting many of my articles that substitute banksters for bankers. Screwgle.

Hey all,Just wanted to point out that when I was looking at some of my page stats I saw one that made me wonder what it was. The reference came from Google.com.eg. I took a look at it, and it seems to be written (I'm merely taking an educated guess here, however) in what I believe to be written in...

I think my last try was over a year ago. I honestly have never had success with it EVER, even with third party tools, bar ONE title about three years back. If you're freaked out by it, don't stress. You don't HAVE to do keyword research to get good traffic. Personally my two go-tos right now are:1....
