As I was hopping hubs, I found a hub with a very low rate. It was less than 40. When I read the hub, I found it a good hub and doesn't deserve that low rate. I was surprised and I kept surprised till today. I was answering a question about brown rice. I answered by writing a hub to show in details the differences and benefits of each. After while,I've decided to add a table to the hub and it was a surprise to find my hub at a very very low rate. I still don't understand why. Here is a link to my hub

Please have a look and give me your feed back. Thank you:)

You are only supposed to link to your hubs in the Extreme Hub Makeover forum.

This hub looked okay to me. Just give it time. The low score is probably not due to anyone rating it down.

      Thanks for replying:)

Thanks for replying. What are other factors that affect a hub rating?

Do not open another forum thread about this hub. It's against forum rules to promote hubs, except when posted in the Extreme Hub Makeover threads.

I have reported this thread to the Staff and they should most likely move this thread to the right category. On a side note, you should NOT be using trackers in the forum threads, regardless where you post the hub. It is bad forum decorum.

Oh, I made a mistake. I'm trying to remove this post but I couldn't. Do you have an idea how to remove it?

Hubscore isn't rated by a particular person - it's calculated by a computer.

When you first publish a hub it will start out somewhere in the high 40s or low 50s. ALL hubs start out in that rating area.

Based on things like quality, different types of content (pictures, links, tables etc) as well as traffic and visitor feedback it will slowly increase in score over time.

It usually takes about a week to reach the average score it will stay at and then may go up about 10 points from there, later on. Don't be surprised if hub score drops or rises anywhere up to 15 points though.

You'll find that all scores on the site (author score, hub score, hub karma) are all worked out by a computer and have no influence on traffic or earnings.

ThanksWryLit, I think  I could understand. There are many issues I should put in mind as I'm creating a hub.

I think the hub looks fine. I did notice a few grammatical errors, and the word 'information' is duplicate in the first paragraph. I like the chart. I would probably add a closing paragraph, but that's just my preference. I would go back over it and check for errors, punctuation, spell check.
Don't worry about the score. It will eventually move up, as others have mentioned.

Thank you rebekah, this is really useful. But I'm not an English native speaker, that's why you've found these errors. If you can tell me what are the errors so I can work on them smile I know it's wasting your time but I realy appreciate your help smile
