I need help trying to find the name of a song, sang by the beach boys

   Several years ago a friend and I were riding around and he was playing a beach boys tape (8 track I think). On the tape was a song that made mention of a dresser. I have thought of this song for several years and would like to hear it again. Thank you for any help you may have.

      part of the problem with trying to look up the song based on a dresser is that the Beach Boys tribute band is named Dresser.

      This is the best way to find it. Go to a site called Groove shark. You can do a search for the Beach Boys. All their songs and albums will come up allowing you to play each song, no charge. I don't think you need to have an account but if you do it is free, no strings attached or time limits. I've used it for a few years.

         This was likely Brian Wilson singing falsetto like he did in "I Get Around" which is not the song you mean.

   with a date i could probably narrow it down to the album.. if it was 8 track it was probably in the 60's early 70's... as close a date as possible will help exclude future albums because they have a ton... were you in your teens driving during summer break to help jog your memory

         well that eliminates 5 albums out of 28... only 23 to sift through now...LOL- well hopefully the 8 track was a newer one and i'll work backward from there

   here's a link that goes year by year album by album song by song so you can look through the appropriate year you think it was... so far i dont see walk across the floor dresser by the door in any lyrics but i'll find it eventually.. although probably not today.. i checked at least 4 albums so far ...http://www.azlyrics.com/b/beachboys.html

      That sounds like a beautiful song but it isn't what I'm thinking of.
      
      this is one of those things i KNOW what it is and it is on the tip end of my brain, but I just can't seem to spit it out. Drives me crazy.
      
      The song, was a touching kind of song, dang, I don't know, I just remember it and have over the years wish I could hear it again.
      
      I would call the friend i was riding with but I don't think the wife would like it.

         What difference would the wife matter with regards to finding a name of a song on an 8 track tape? I mean, if she is that jealous, then she has bigger issues.
